Who Am I?

My name is Erling Kristiansen, a seasoned creative producer and project manager with over a decade of experience at the intersection of marketing, experiential design, live events, and community-driven initiatives.

My professional journey began at Universal McCann, where I worked as a media buyer, gaining firsthand experience in the fast-paced world of media strategy and advertising. This early exposure to large-scale marketing campaigns laid the foundation for my ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and client relationships.

From there, I transitioned into project management, working across industries such as real estate development, public space activation, and experiential marketing. At MJM Management, I oversaw capital development projects across San Francisco, managing a team responsible for large-scale public spaces like Union Square, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Treasure Island. Leading cross-functional teams, I worked with major stakeholders, including the City of San Francisco, Google, and the Oakland A’s, to bring transformative projects to life.

Seeking to merge my expertise in logistics with my passion for creativity, I moved into the experiential marketing space, joining Future Colossal, a creative technology agency, where I currently serve as the delivery director. In this role, I oversee all production projects, leading teams of designers, developers, and fabricators to create immersive experiences for brands like Netflix, ESPN, and Accenture. With a strategic mindset and a problem-solving approach, I’ve successfully delivered high-impact activations under budget while fostering innovation in the industry.

Beyond my corporate career, I am deeply committed to the arts and community engagement. As a board member for the Queens Rugby Club, I help support and grow a grassroots, nonprofit rugby team dedicated to inclusivity and athletic excellence. In the past, I served as an art coordinator for Burning Man, collaborating with artists to bring bold, interactive installations to life. I also worked in live event production, assisting with festivals like the Joshua Tree Music Festival and Guitar Fish, while managing comedy shows for Yonder.

Whether it’s orchestrating a global brand activation, building a community-driven arts project, or ensuring the seamless execution of a events, I bring a unique blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and hands-on problem-solving to every endeavor.

Let’s connect and create something extraordinary.
